A DarkHorse Champion
Darkhorse
Boxing is the fastest growing stable in Texas. Now, it is
also the stable with the new Texas Champion. Domonic Jenkins
(11-6) ended the reign of Ron Guerrero just forty seven seconds
into the first round to bring Darkhorse Boxing its first championship.
At the Fists
of Fury this past Saturday (January 20th) in McAllen,
Texas, Domonic entered the fight with one goal--win a championship.
Earlier that morning, the Darkhorse fighter was feeling ill.
He approached his trainer, Al Smith, about a possible strategy
he could use to work through the illness. He was not going
to miss this fight.Smith told him to end it early and that
is what he did. After a combination of a right hand and left
hook, the referee stopped the fight.
Domonic is known for having a rare blend of
speed and power. With those abilities, he will be a tough
champion to defeat.
